Each edition of 5 dancers per episode will feature performers in comfortable lounge wear or street clothes. No dance costumes, no dance jewellery and no familiar music or lyrics of their form.
We wanted to disrupt the sense of comfort that many dancers tend to lapse into – thus forcing them to ideate and create from their confined spaces.

This year, I want to tell myself that I am OK! Each of us have very different perspectives and upbringings, as a result within the “culture” we are all very different. So who are we to say what is right or wrong, what is beautiful and not, what is proper or improper? Therefore, it is so important to uplift ourselves from the core as individuals with values (principals of self-respect and self-love with healthy boundaries). With it, we will be empowered, and inspired to live a happier, or at least much more meaningful lives.
